Greeting, friends! I am a 40-something single mom of two boys. Both are in elementary school and are five years apart in age. I hold a BA in Mathematics and an MEd in Mathematics Education. I've been a teacher for 18 years and have achieved burn out. While in college, I was also a dance minor and have extensive experience in music and community theater. I'm left-handed, right-brained, and have a range of interests that covers virtually everything from professional football to Broadway musicals. I love people and enjoy finding out an individual's story - how they got from where they were to where they are. I've nearly finished my first novel, have the second novel in outline form, and have two poems already published. I would love to pursue writing full time and help others find their own personal voice through teaching creativity seminars.
